This model has become central to modern web hosting, application development, databases, artificial intelligence, gaming services and enterprise infrastructure.

Cloud Server Explained in Simple Terms

Imagine that you need a computer to run your website 24 hours a day.

You could purchase a physical server, install Linux, connect it to the internet and maintain it yourself. Alternatively, you can rent a server from a cloud provider.

The basic idea: With a cloud server, the provider operates the physical infrastructure while you provision the computing resources required for your workload.
